Guests Must Be At Least 18 Years Old. NO EXCEPTIONS

     You won’t find the ROOST on the heavily trafficked tourist roads. However, we are ideally located for great day rides to many of North Carolina’s tourist areas. RIDER’s ROOST, located just east of the Blue Ridge Parkway near Boone, offers beauty and seclusion without giving up creature comforts. Guests of the ROOST enjoy some of the greatest riding east of the Mississippi. The Blue Ridge Parkway, a mandatory ride for any serious motorcyclist, is only minutes away and every route to the Parkway is a delight. Scenic mountain roads are in abundance. In fact, NC268 is a designated North Carolina Scenic Byway.

The riding is why we are here! We will also be happy to help you lay out your day's ride for your maximum enjoyment.
As veterans of many long rides, we understand what the touring rider wants and needs. You won’t be shunted off to the back forty here. Our Campsites and lodging facilities are situated alongside a pristine mountain stream where you can sleep to the soothing sounds of white water rapids. Swim in our huge country swim hole or just lounge in the rocks and let the cool mountain water ease muscles weary from a day in the saddle. Recreational facilities, ice and chests, grilles, firewood, basic shop services, and even air for ya mattress are all available. We realize that you can’t carry everything on a bike, so we probably have it at the ROOST. If ya don’t see it, just ask.
We even have emergency road service if you have a problem with your ride during your stay.

 Each year RIDER’s ROOST  sponsors three riding season parties. These events include live entertainment, food, and plenty of fun for all. Reservations are encouraged although not required.  See our Events page for more details.

We welcome Groups of all sizes and can accommodate up to several hundred. Let our staff cater your next rally or event.  Anything from rides to live music or comedy, Please contact us for more information on group rates and services.
